Type HG

SBU HG Knife Gate Valve

The HG valve has a self cleaning gate which gives a reliable solution for more demanding applications where the media is at risk of clogging or poor sealing. 

Applications

Often used for concentrated pulp, liquor, rejects, lime and waste. Irish also offers a specially modified green liquor HG valve to address the problems associated with green liquor.

• Bi-directional valve seals on both sides
• H/D packing gland with rounded gate edges and gland to prevent friction packing cuts from frequent actuation
• Non-rising stems for easy operation

• Gate material of Duplex S/S 2377

Type MV

SBU MV Knife Gate Valve

The MV is the standard valve in the product range. It is designed for a wide variety of applications. This valve can be used for media with considerable amounts of particles, fibers etc.

Applications

  Often used for pulp, white and black liquor, sugar, food production, recycled paper, powder, pellets, sludge and sewage.

Type HGR

A valve designed for abrasive high temperature media and applications with very high demands for seal tightness. The HGR is especially suited to pneumatic transport of powder and dust e.g. cement, fly ash. Also suitable for liquids with abrasive characteristics.

Type RK

Metal to metal seated valve with recesses that eliminate the risk of clogging under heavy process conditions. 

Applications

Often used for powder, pellets, sugar, concrete, cement and food production waste.

Type RKO

SBU RKO

Same valve as the RK above. But with a round port to square port design.

Applications

Recycled pulp, pulper outlets, fiberizers, H/D cleaners, liquid cyclones, junk and sank traps.

• Round inlet to larger square outlet to prevent jamming of metal and other debris on discharge
